To choose a laminator, which would be actually suitable for you and would serve you for a long period of time, you have to concretize the tasks your laminator will have to achieve: to laminate very important, containing valuables documents or just the ordinary ones; photos or glossy paper. Also you must decide if it will be used from time to time or you are going to install your laminator in a printing-house or a copying center.

 

What is important to know about laminators?

 

Types of heating system.

The most important description of any laminator is the type of its heating system. On the basis of this characteristic laminators can be divided into three models: with hot plates, with rollers of external (pseudo-hot) and with rollers of internal heating.

Backspacing.

This function help “to save” a document, if something goes wrong because of an incorrect packing.

Format.

The wider laminator is - the easier it is in use and the bigger is his productivity. It is possible to issue several things of a small format at the same time, disposing them lengthways a laminator.

Regulation of  temperature.

A smooth regulation of temperature allows using a pellicle of different thickness: from 80 up to 350 mkm. As far as the rollers are heated up till the chosen temperature, a special heat sensor will let you know that the rollers have been heated enough to start working.

The technology of the rollers’ external heating.

It has diminished for several times the laminator’s preparing for working and, as a result, has increased the performance index and exploitation resources of the machine. Together with the possibility of a smooth temperature regulation it permits to use the laminators PRO for such a delicate process as lamination in foil, which usually needs a special, extra laminator. The most suitable temperature for each type of foil is selected experimentally in order to achieve the best quality.

Especially for those, who don’t want to choose between plastic and metal, we have created series BP, supplied with a unique perforating module, which permits an easy knifes block changing. Only two seconds for changing of the block and you are able to use either plastic or metal springs, modifying quantity and even size of apertures.

 

Type of springs.

There are three kinds of stitchers: with plastic springs, with metal springs and the universal ones. The main distinction of a plastic “comb” is that you can reopen and close it a lot of times, changing the contents of the brochure. With a metal one it is a little bit more complicated: to open a binding without damaging springs is not an easy task, it would be simpler to change it for a new one. A metal binding allows opening a brochure for 360 degrees.

Volume of binding.

Pay attention to a volume of a binding:  for the stitcher with plastic springs the limit of the capability is 500 sheets. For those of metal- 110-120 sheets.  Within these confines, you can bind any quantity of sheets, using a table-prompting the ratio of quantity of sheets to a diameter of springs.   

Perforation.

Office stitchers are able to make apertures from 10 up to 25 sheets simultaneously. Covers made of  a dense pellicle are riddled one by one.

Profundity of a perforation.

You can regulate the indent of apertures while perforation, what will help you to make a pretty brochure independently of the sheets quantity.

According to the amount of perforated documents and the intensity of perforation, stitchers are divided into three types: personal, office and professional ones.

 

What makes the stitchers PRO convenient to work with?

 

Knifes.

Perforating knifes, even in personal stitchers, are made of hardened steel. Owing to that fact, stitchers PRO ensure wonderful quality of punching. Even after a long-term service.

Body material.

Metallic frame is reckoned for a long-term and an intense exploitation. All details and units inside the frame are also made of metal.

Levers.

Two separated levers for perforation and binding facilitate the assembling of a brochure. While you are punching the following portion of sheets, the punched sheets can be contained in an open spiral.

Plastic and metal.

Binding with metal springs makes a brochure at most attractive; besides, the fastening is more solid, than in utilization plastic springs. However, there is some inconveniency: in contrast to plastic, metal springs are all-in-one and a brochure is made “once and for all”, so you are not able to add some sheets to a brochure or to change it content with metal binding.

The best way to use metal springs for  binding is for calenderers,  notebooks, technical manuals, instructions and other documents with a seldom changed content, but which are permanently used.

 

Shredders PRO.

 

Shredders fulfill two very important functions at the same time, on which a whole office life could be dependant: they do away paper waste and keep the confidential information from other people’s eyes   inside and outside the office.

 

The quantity of documents.

Choosing an office shredder, pay attention to the power of an engine and to  the amount of loaded paper. The more productive model is - the bigger is her feeding bunker and the basket for scrap of paper.  

Security level.

The level of certainty that your commercial secrets die in the shredder is in inverse proportion to the size of strips, made by your shredder. For the internal documents you need the 2 or the 3 class and the upper status of the manager is the more security level of a shredder is required.

Not only paper.

If you have to utilize plastic cards, CD-disks and certificates in a dense cover, pay attention to special office raised productivity shredders of series “Terminator”.

The power of the engine has been selected according to a long-term period of working without interruption. The shown quantity of sheets is usual for normal working, but it’s not a pressure limit. There is a protection of the engine from an overheating. A transmission chain compensates possible surcharging, what ensures more productive and long life of your shredder.
